Our signature line of ecologically grown potatoes, Eco Spuds™ are available across Atlantic Canada through Sobeys. What sets our potatoes apart is that we use no genetic modification, no chemical treatment on seeds, no herbicides, and no chemical treatment in storage

Timber River Eco Farms is located on the New Brunswick side of the beautiful Northumberland Strait. We are proud to be a small family-owned farm with 800 acres of land. We believe people should know who makes their food and what goes into the process. We strive for transparency and are committed to giving back to our community
Our values
Sustainability
We grow our potatoes using ecological practices developed together with the World Wildlife Fund Canada. We emphasize natural pest management, plant nutrition, and health. We also use reduced synthetic pesticides. All of this is to protect the natural environment and bring Atlantic Canadians the best potatoes
Spring of 2021, we installed our first solar panels to the farm and upgraded our 10lbs and 20lbs potatoes bags to compostable bags

No Herbicides
Our potatoes are grown with no herbicides, no genetic modification, no chemical seed treatment, and no chemical treatments in storage
100% Compostable
We’ve switched our 10 lb and 20 lb bags from non-recyclable netting for air holes making our bags 100% compostable
Pre-Washed
Our potatoes are pre-washed making meal prep easy
